Storm Prediction Center Outlines Long Range Severe Weather Threat

The SPC has outlined a long range severe weather threat for a few days away.
As the image of 500mb heights from the ECMWF shows, a strong storm system will provoke a regional severe weather outbreak.
Image 2 shows the SPC outlook. Day 6 is 5 days away.

Again, I am on a short vacation, so this is all I can give until tomorrow.

Aran when you are away you can't help it. You don't need to blame yourself. Glad to comment with people like you. Days 5 and 7 in the long term the SPC is extremely concerned about. PDS's may be needed. Another red flag warning for my area. Happy Easter to everyone. Take care!

Aran: You are not bound to comment- it is a very nice contribution, but please don't feel like you have to comment.

ERN WX: It worries me a lot on how the SPC outlined a Day 7. Not a good sign at all.

Hope it is not as bad as the southern Indiana outbreak.
