July 5 Nightttime Forecast- In A Nutshell

At the moment, we see some stronger storms moving out of Nebraska. This cluster of storms will likely lose intensity as we go into the night, but areas to the west of the cluster at the current position should be watchful of stronger storms.
A line of showers moving southeast into Illinois is associated with a cold front. As the front moves southeast, there will remain a chance for showers and a very isolated storm throughout the night and into the day tomorrow.
We see some scattered storm cells in the South, and those will continue through this early evening at least.
