May 25: Tornado Warning- Oil Trough, AR


THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LITTLE ROCK HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN INDEPENDENCE COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS...
  NORTHERN JACKSON COUNTY IN EASTERN ARKANSAS...

* UNTIL 500 PM CDT

* AT 410 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER 
SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
A TORNADO.  THIS SEVERE
  STORM WAS LOCATED 3 MILES SOUTHEAST OF 
OIL TROUGH...OR 10 MILES
  WEST OF DIAZ. DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THIS
SEVERE STORM MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH. IN ADDITION TO THE
TORNADO...THIS STORM IS
  CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE DAMAGING HAIL
UP TO GOLF BALL SIZE.
